Giving Back to the Community
HomeState has partnered up with nonprofit organizations. Since there is always some stuff leftover after a sale or items in need of donating after a closet clean out, HomeState works particularly with two organizations in need of certain household items.
Who We Work With
Furniture Ministry (Through Lafayette Federated Church & Other Sussex County Social Service Programs) - The Furniture Ministry works to rehouse the homeless or people temporarily displaced and provides them with small furniture and home decor. Often times, people are rehoused into empty apartments. Furniture Ministry is always on the lookout for small end tables, twin beds, coffee tables, armchairs, love seat sofas, holiday decor, artwork & prints, as well as gently used clothing.

Faith Hope & Charity Foster Care Agency, East Stroudsburg, PA - Faith Hope & Charity Foster Care Agency is always looking for donations of gently used suitcases, duffle bags, backpacks, toiletries, children/YA books, and children's toys.
